This is a stunning cream cotton guipure lace, with subtle sheen, that would be perfect for design features (collars, yokes and sleeves) as well as for chic shift dresses and boxy tops. I can also see this in fuller skirts and Edwardian inspired blouses. It would also be optimal for blouse panel inserts. It's a contemporary geometric design, which is quite unusual. Pair with flesh toned underwear or confidently don brighter underwear. This cloth sparks creative play. This is a high quality designer end / dead stock cloth.
Please note that this is 89cm wide. See last image for more details.
For your cloth edit consider: looser blouses, tops and tunics; dresses (eg. fit and flare, tunic, shift, sheath), skirts (eg. straight, A line or gathered mini, midi, maxi).
We stock so many beautiful indie patterns that would be a perfect match with this lace. Here are some suggestions:
Cloth Care:
To maintain the integrity of the weave, it is recommended to dry clean this fabric. If you want to try hand washing (at your own risk), test first. Be gentle when you are moving the fabric/garment through the water. Do not wring, roll up the garment/fabric in a towel to extract excess water. Dry flat. DO NOT tumble dry. Test iron setting prior to use. You may need to just finger press. Use a pressing cloth.
