Atelier Brunette - Vichy Gingham / Cotton Double Gauze - Smokey/Forest
Cloth Edit is delighted to now stock a selection of the new Vichy Collection. Atelier Brunette Double Gauze has a loyal following who love the luxuriously soft cloth, and the unique designs. The key feature is the two sized checks on opposite sides of the cloth. Have fun with the characteristics of the fabric and look for patterns that have some smaller pattern pieces to show off the small and medium checks. Play with yokes, pockets, plackets etc There is no 'wrong side' to the Vichy Ginghams.
Atelier Brunette name this colourway 'Smokey' which I think is a little confusing ;-). It is very close to the Atelier Brunette Forest Corduroy and Stretch Velvet. It's not 'exact' but I'd certainly pair them. It is a stunning colour, and looks great with all of the other colourways (Maple, Dahlia, Rust, Chestnut). Of course this is going to look amazing with denim too. The photo I took of all five colours together seems to be a better representation of this green colourway than the Atelier Brunette images.
