Bohin Hand Sewing Needles – Self Threading Needles sizes 4 - 8
Pins and needles are such small sewing tools, but when you work with quality equipment, it is such a pleasure. The French company Bohin have been manufacturing pins and needles since 1833, and since 1952 they remain the only French manufacturer of sewing needles. If you don’t know much about Bohin, or the manufacturing of pins and needles, here is a link (it’s fascinating):

'Self threading Needles' have a little spring that keeps the thread in the needle eye. Rather than poking the thread through the eye, you push the thread down through the top of the needle (see the image). These are similar to ‘Sharps’, as they are a good length, width, and are sharp. They are an all-purpose sewing needle. If you have trouble threading needles, then these are a great relief. The elongated eye doesn’t bulge, so it still slips through fabric easily. They are made of Nickle plated steel, are lovely to handle, and will last a lifetime. This 6 pce set, sizes 4-8, will cover most of your needs (light to medium fabric).
Bohin needles are made in France, ‘honed by tradition and finished to perfection’.
