Toffee is the latest addition to the Cousette denim collection. I love it even more than I imagined. Cousette denim has a huge, dedicated following. They have a few core colours that they've restocked, but they inject new gorgeous (limited edition) colours into the range from time to time, to complement their seasonal collections.
I have so many prints at Cloth Edit that look wonderful alongside this Toffee denim. I have added some inspiration picks to get you thinking about possible ensembles. While I've focused on prints that include a little bit of toffee | caramel | tan, you could also team this with a block colour (eg. green, pink, blue, black), or also consider contrasting, striking prints. There are so many options.
This is a classic, neutral coloured denim made by combining ivory and toffee threads in a twill weave. It has a very subtle sheen finish which brings a sense of luxury. It's perfect for pinafores, jeans, simple skirts, and of course, jackets. There is no stretch to this cloth, so keep this in mind. While it is substantial it isn't stiff. It's soft and there is even a bit of drape if you wanted to explore A-line skirts, or fuller shacket styles. It's a stunning cloth.
