Fabric Godmother's latest collection, Dolce Vita, celebrates the vibrant spirit of Italian culture through food-inspired prints. This collection features a range of fabrics adorned with playful motifs such as pasta, fruit and gelato.

• Weight:  150gsm (it's a bit lighter than the classic 195gsm FG linen Viscose blend)

Postcard style prints are having a huge moment in designer collections, so it's wonderful to have this playful print, replete with summer motifs.  You'll spot crabs, fish, shells, cherries and strawberries.  The images are in the style of watercolour paintings. The colour palette is softer and is perfect for chic summer attire.  This cloth is a lovely combination of viscose, cotton and linen.  It light (but not too light) and has a beautiful drape. 

• This fabric is woven from a natural linen flax which causes visible slubs during the printing process. This texture is part of the natural charm of the fabric and not a flaw.
• The cloth is not that see-through, so you won't need to line it.  It's ideal for blouses, dresses, trousers and skirts.

Washing Instructions:

Machine washable at 30 degrees, cool iron and hang out to dry straight after washing, please note when you wash viscose it can become stiffer when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries.  

To ensure the long life of a garment, don’t tumble dry as this breaks down the fibres. It is preferable to wash inside out. Wash colours separately. Dry in shade and inside out.  Use a warm/hot iron and spot test.
