'Relax' Stretch Denim - Saffron

'Relax' Stretch Denim - Saffron
- 65% Cotton
- 33% Polyester
- 2% Elastane
- Approx 10-15% Stretch Cross Grain (no stretch on grain)
- 270gsm (8 ½ oz)
- 150cm wide
- Oeko-Tex Standard 100
- Twill weave with white and coloured yarns. Tiny flecks of the white can be seen across the right side, creating a slight sheen in certain lights.
Cloth Edit had a smaller selection of 'Relax' denim a couple of years ago. I'm so happy to release this fabulous stretch denim again. There are three colours that have been in stock (briefly) before, and three new colours.
This is a mid-weight stretch denim that has some body to it. It's a beautiful quality, and is soft (especially the white underside). It isn’t too heavy at 280gsm (or 8 ½ oz per yard) and comes with just a little 'give' on the cross grain. Poly content in denim is something I've researched and have come to appreciate it. It brings a softness, keeps the cloth lighter, helps with the dying process, and reduces creasing. The twill weave brings a slight sheen when you move it in the light.
There are 6 colours: Crimson, Saffron, Terra, Olive Grove, Brickworks and Pine.
- This is perfect for slim fit or straight leg pants, straight or A-line skirts, jackets, blazers, pinafores, overalls/dungarees and vests. It will bring the perfect amount of 'give' across shoulders of your jacket, and in the seat of your trousers/pants.

Cloth Care:
In order to preserve your denim fabric as well as possible, wash the fabric before sewing.
- Choose a mild detergent without bleach.
- Wash your fabric with a delicate or silk program at a maximum temperature of 30°
- Gentle spin (max 1000 rpm)
- Line Dry in shade (smooth it out when it comes out of the machine)
- Do Not Tumble Dry
- Iron at medium temperature
