About the 'La Chemise' pattern
Just to confuse you, there is a 'Chemise' and 'Chemisette' pattern in the Atelier Brunette collection. La Chemise is a loose-fit boyfriend shirt revisited with the Atelier Brunette style. It has an oversized maxi cut embellished with feminine details that give it an edge. Have fun playing with the diagonal yoke by using contracting fabric, or play with checks cut on the bias for the upper portion of the bodice front. This is such a great design. There are two different version. (see below)

VERSION A (Back pattern piece combines the bodice and sleeve in one piece)
All fabrics (Version B best for stripes)

- A charming, little French collar
- Opening with button placket and buttons in front
- An ample batwing sleeve
- A delicate 2 button sleeve cuff
- A rounded bottom hem (just like the LA Chemisette pattern)
VERSION B (with separate back bodice and sleeve pieces)
DETAILS
The same features as version A with an additional separate back sleeve. This option will prove invaluable when sewing with stripes.
