'Arabelle' is the most beautiful white-on-white embroidered voile. I should note that it's more of a winter white or ivory rather than a bright white. The embroidered design is quite dense with flowers and foliage across the cloth. The groups of flowers face both directions along the grain, so you can make the most of your cloth with some economical cutting out. You will also love the scalloped selvages, giving you lots of wonderful options for pretty skirt and sleeve 'hems' and delicate necklines. Even though this is a voile, the embroidery brings a bit of body to it. There is a bit of texture on the underside of the cloth so you might want to underline or line some fitted tops or bodices. This is a spectacular fabric.

Cloth Care:
We recommend a gentle machine wash or hand washing linen. If machine washing, use a garment bag to preserve the embroidery. It is important not to wring the fabric or garment, so if you are handwashing, roll up in a towel to press out excess water. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. It is preferable to wash garments inside out. Wash colours separately. Shake out the wet garment and dry flat (or on a hanger) in the shade. Use a warm/hot iron and spot test.
