What a find!  This small-scale navy and white check is embellished with rows of embroidery (going up the grain).  The design is teeny tiny flower buds with leaves.  It looks as though it goes in one direction, but if you needed to do more economical cutting out, then you wouldn't really notice if you cut some pieces in the other direction.  I thought this was going to be a lot crisper, but it isn't at all.  It's gorgeous.   

The cloth is a fine, soft cotton jacquard that's perfect for beautiful shirts and blouses, as well as dresses.

Cloth Care:

While cotton can generally be machine washed and tumble dried without any problem, this is a lightweight and delicate fabric, so take more care of the cloth/garment, so hand wash or and use a short / delicate cycle. Wash colours separately. The finished garment will last longer and look better if it is shaken out when wet and placed on a hanger to dry. Tumble drying will shorten the life of the garment, and potentially damage the double gauze Do Not Tumble Dry. To prevent fading, wash inside out and dry in the shade. Cotton needs a warm to hot iron. Conduct a spot test. Cotton is dry cleanable.
