I'm excited to release a wonderful selection of more traditional Japanese prints from Hokkoh. The 'Phoenix' motif appears in the 'Chronicles of Japan' and is believed to appear in times of peace and prosperity, as it heralds the dawn of a harmonious era. I think we all need a Phoenix in our corner ;-). The design is stunning, with birds, flowers and swirls. Both colourways feature stunning metallic gold, which outlines all elements of the print, and makes it so special.
The cloth is a gorgeous shantung cotton, with the texture coming from the different sized yarns. The weight is 170gsm, and it's perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, pinafores, pants, skirts that have a bit of structure.
'Phoenix' comes in two colourways:
Aegean: this has a colour palette of red, blues, white and taupe, all set against an Aegean blue background.
Navy: features an array of blues, soft sage, grey-taupe and small moments of white, all on a deep navy background.

Cloth Care:
Delicate Cycle; 30 Degrees, Line Dry. Wash colours separately. The finished garment will last longer and look better if it is shaken out when wet and placed on a hanger to dry. To prevent fading, wash inside out and dry in the shade. Cotton needs a warm to hot iron. Conduct a spot test. Cotton is dry cleanable.
