Kobayashi is a new Japanese fabric brand for Cloth Edit, and I couldn't be happier. I fell in love with these jaunty leopards. It's a fun, yet understated take on an animal print. I love how those scarves fly in the wind as the sleek cats run, while some leopards wear collars and a little bell.
The cloth is a beautiful Cotton | Linen blend. It's soft with some body, so it's perfect for straight or A-Line dresses, simple tops and blouses, shirts, shorts, pants or shorts.
'Jaunty Leaping Leopards' comes in two colourways:
Natural - The jaunty tan and black leopards are surrounded by black spotted leopards, with the occasional one in a jaunty red scarf, or red collar with a yellow bell. The cloth is a natural linen colour.
Steel Blue - The grey | blue background is a wonderful contrast for the leopards, with the jaunty pink scarves and pink collars with yellow bells. There is the same mix of tan and black leopards as the natural colourway.

Cloth Care:
Delicate Cycle; 30 Degrees, Line Dry. Wash colours separately. The finished garment will last longer and look better if it is shaken out when wet and placed on a hanger to dry. To prevent fading, wash inside out and dry in the shade. Cotton needs a warm to hot iron. Conduct a spot test. Cotton is dry cleanable.
