Fancy a bit of painted whimsy? I’m always quick to snap up this sort of print; with casual, colourful splatters of dots and dashes on a light or dark background. Despite the apparent irregularity of the artwork, the colours seem to fall in beautiful clusters that read as flowers. This is a new Viscose Linen fabric for Cloth Edit. It’s a 70% Viscose and 30% Linen blend. The weave is on the finer side with a little texture from the linen, and you can see this in some of the close-up images. The drape is akin to a light-medium weight, drapey linen. The viscose | linen blend is a great combination of fibres; perfect for all manner of garments: blouses, shirts, dresses, skirts, pants and shorts. I know you’ll love this.
There are two colourways:
Navy – The background looks black, but you can see it’s navy when you hold some black next to it. The colours range from aqua and turquoise to coral-y reds, yellows, to pale greens, pinks and blues.
Natural – You’ll love the ‘natural linen’ colour background. It’s a perfect backdrop for the array of pinks, muted yellows and oranges, turquoise, cobalt, pale blue, and forest and pale green.
