Atelier Brunette's twill weave Gabardines have a loyal following: there are Gabardines and then there is Atelier Brunette Gabardine. The lighter weight gabardine cloth is perfect for trousers, jackets, skirts, structured dresses, and even the Combishort (jumpsuit) pattern. This is gorgeous eggshell or oat colour which you could wear in summer as shorts or a skirt, and in the cooler months as a vest. light jacket or pants. You'll notice that my images were taken just in natural light, whereas the Atelier Brunette images are with good professional lighting. I thought I'd include both sets of images so you get a good idea of the drape.
