About the Linger Dress
Maison Fauve have designed the perfect dress that blends femininity with effortless style. The Linger dress pattern features princess seams, and this precise panel construction makes for a beautifully clean, sculpted silhouette. The shape is long and fluid, light to wear, and ultra comfortable thanks to its wide straps.
The pattern comes with 4 variations, featuring:
- an irresistible with a deep neckline
- a more everyday, higher neckline (bra-friendly!)
- a long version
- a playful short version.
The key techniques include assembling large panels without stretching the fabric, attaching a clean neckline facing, and inserting an invisible side zip.
The Fabric
Select lightweight to medium-weight fabric (100–200 g/m ) with softness and beautiful drape, such as poplin, crepe, lightweight jacquard, twill, dupion, in viscose, cotton, linen, Tencel or silk.
The dress cut is best showcased in fabrics that are supple and fluid.
