This summer Cloth Edit has a quartet of more traditional Japanese prints from Hokkoh. In addition to 'Phoenix' (in two colourways), may I introduce the 'Dentou' design. It is a celebration of 'Dentou' - Japanese cultural practices and tradition. It features a number of female figures in stunning formal attire and a striking male samurai. The ensembles are in beautiful colour palettes. and are layered, decorated and intricate.
The cloth is a gorgeous shantung cotton, with the texture coming from the different sized yarns. The weight is 170gsm, and it's perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, pinafores, pants, skirts that have a bit of structure.
'Dentou' comes in two colourways:
Chartreuse: this colourway includes rusty red, muted orange, blues, black, plum, white, beige, and soft blue-grey (on a striking chartreuse background).
Red: features forest green, muted orange, blue-greys, greys, black, brown, and a little off-white and cream (on a stunning red background).

Cloth Care:
Delicate Cycle; 30 Degrees, Line Dry. Wash colours separately. The finished garment will last longer and look better if it is shaken out when wet and placed on a hanger to dry. To prevent fading, wash inside out and dry in the shade. Cotton needs a warm to hot iron. Conduct a spot test. Cotton is dry cleanable.
