'Relax' Super Soft Stretch Baby Cord

You’re going to love this soft, velvet-like baby corduroy fabric. The hunt for a stretch corduroy started when I was thinking about a lightweight jacket for over dresses. This stretch corduroy ticks all the boxes and is so much more. It is luxurious to the touch, is a lovely light weight but is still a perfect weight for pants|trousers, skirts, jackets, overshirts and trench style coats. What I love about this fabric is that you could also make dresses such as a classic fit and flare, or a shirt dress. I can also see blouses with a statement/full sleeve, or ‘puff’. The bonus is this fabric has good stretch. As with all corduroy this has a nap so you need to cut out with this in mind.
Cloth Edit has ‘Relax’ Baby Corduroy in three colours: Denim Blue, Soft Dusky Pink, and Pale Blue.
For your cloth edit consider: semi-fitted or looser shirts, blouses and shirts dresses (eg. fit and flare, A Line, shirt dresses), fuller or straight skirts (eg. A Line, midi, gathered, pleated) and straight or pleated trousers.

Cloth Care:
Pre-Wash fabric. To keep your corduroy in the best condition, line dry (inside out), machine wash at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle. Do Not Tumble Dry. Med-Hot steam iron above the fabric. Spot test. Brush nap with a clothes brush if needed.
