This print was a part of Fabric Godmother's Dolce Vita Collection from 2025, and they're continuing their celebration of summer holidays for 2026.  They've reprinted 'Sardinia' and 'Le Weekend' viscose linens, and created the gorgeous 'Pranzo' print on a cotton lawn; an homage to long lunches with friends.  Amongst the new Fabric Godmother prints you'll also find 'Scallop Star' and 'Secret Garden', both stunning viscose linen blends.

Fabric Godmother's Le Weekend is a playful print inspired by a weekend in Paris. This print has a bright, clear ivory background, and features bread, wine, cheese, tomatoes, grapes, lemons, a plate of crab, and some shapes (shells and stars). You'll love the mix of bold colours (green, blue, red, yellow) and the artful design.  Stash this for spring | summer, or create a gorgeous, oversized shirt to wear with jeans and sneakers. This cloth is FG's renowned linen viscose blend. It has plenty of drape and is lovely and soft.

• This fabric is woven from a natural linen flax which can cause small visible slubs during the printing process. This texture is part of the natural charm of the fabric and not a flaw.
• The cloth is not that see-through, so you won't need to line it.  It's ideal for blouses, dresses, trousers and skirts.

Washing Instructions:

Machine washable at 30 degrees, cool iron and hang out to dry straight after washing, please note when you wash viscose it can become stiffer when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries.  

To ensure the long life of a garment, don’t tumble dry as this breaks down the fibres. It is preferable to wash inside out. Wash colours separately. Dry in shade and inside out.  Use a warm/hot iron and spot test.
