While painted doors have a long and fascinating history going back to tombs in Ancient Egypt, it was the Georgian and Victorian era of Britain that popularised this design feature. Whether it was to add a clear marker to a home in a pre-street number era, or as a flourish to express style, social status or aspirations, this assembly of colourful doors in the 'Summer Doors' linen print is a unique and conversational design for your summer wardrobe. The colours look so wonderful together. They include lots of greens, blues, reds, oranges, pinks, lavender and black.
This is the same gorgeous quality linen that so many love. It's 150gsm, which is light, but due to the coverage of the colourful design you won't need any lining. This cloth is perfect for dresses, tops, blouses, shirts, skirts, shorts, loose pants and jumpsuits.

Washing Instructions:
We recommend a gentle machine wash or hand washing linen. It is important not to wring the fabric or garment, so if you are handwashing, roll up in a towel to press out excess water. To ensure the long life of a garment, don’t tumble dry as this breaks down the fibres. If you do tumble dry the cloth, then do so on a cooler setting. It is preferable to wash inside out. Wash colours separately. Shake out the wet garment and dry flat (or on a hanger) in the shade. Use a warm/hot iron and spot test.
