Marcello is based on a casual men's coat (like a smoking jacket), but once it's belted, the silhouette becomes effortless femininity. The key features are the collarless shape, the cinched waist and a framed neckline that gently follows the curve of the neck. The absence of buttons gives it a relaxed yet confident feel, while the carefully designed shoulder and back details add a refined structure. Its clean lines and straight cut are inspired by 1960s Italian tailoring - balancing the strength of a structured shoulder with the softness of a drape you’ll love to wrap yourself in. The Fabric
Select woven wool, or tweed from 250 to 500g/m2 depending on the desired finish. MF recommend choosing a specific lining fabric for the lining.
