Folding Bias Ruler (Created by Susan Brown)

Quilters always know about the best sewing tools and often invent them.  This bias ruler is a genius design.  I stumbled across a handful of these, so be quick. 

More about the Bias Ruler

• it folds in half for easy storage and travel
• It is made out of the same Perspex-style material that most quilting rulers are made from. 
• it has 1/4 " markings, starting at 1/4" up to 2 1/2"  (so you can make a variety of bias widths)
• It has two blunt ends, so you can cut those little triangles off the ends of the bias, so when you join them you can align them perfectly (without any guessing).
• Tip - you can make 280" of bias out of 1/2 yard (or 1/2m) of fabric.  You can get even more if you are making narrower bias.
