A ‘truss’ is an assembly of triangular shapes that support a structure, but I rather like the Old French meaning, which is a ‘collection of things bound together’. This stunning Miss Moresby print has all the hallmarks of Sarah’s playful aesthetic, but the use of ‘truss’ shapes and other geometric forms like rectangles, diamonds, and hexagons brings a fresh, modern take. It is such a unique way to showcase creative colour and pattern-play. The whole design is indeed ‘bound together’ by the overarching theme, and the echoes of colours and dashes, lines, and other shapes throughout the print. It’s a darker navy background than the ‘Saturdays’ print. Even though the navy backgrounds are different, I’d be inclined to mix the prints 😉.
Miss Moresby's cotton sateen is soft, flowy, smooth and has a subtle sheen. It's perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, and loose pants.

The creative vision behind the brand is artist, Sarah Emily Rowe. She’s worked for 3 decades as a fine artist and textile designer, and is celebrated for her paintings, represented by galleries across Australia. With a background rooted in fine art, she draws inspiration from the beauty of everyday objects, seamlessly incorporating these elements into her creative works.
Sarah’s artwork stands out with a lively, bold style characterised by organic botanical shapes and abstract motifs. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings and the intricate patterns she observes, Sarah creates pieces that embody her distinctive vision. Cloth Care:
Gentle cold machine or hand wash, dry in shade and do not tumble dry. Iron on wrong side of fabric to preserve print. Dry clean if preferred.
