'Chelsea' Bengaline Jacquard is a perfect addition to your autumn | winter sewing plans. This bengaline is 'extra'. It has the wonderful characteristics of bengaline (including great comfort and recovery), but the small deco style jacquard design brings dimension and interest. It has about 40-50% stretch along the grain, and no stretch on the cross-grain. This is a stable but soft stretch woven, and at 320gsm it's perfect for pants, simple straight dresses, cropped jackets and straight or A-Line skirts.
Chelsea comes in two colourways: Slate, and Old Rose Pink.
In your pattern search, focus on slimmer style garments (skirts, dresses, skirts, cropped jackets).
Cloth Care:
Gentle cold machine or hand wash, dry in shade and do not tumble dry. Iron on wrong side. Dry clean if preferred.
