I've been on the lookout for gorgeous, embroidered fabrics for the Spring | Summer collection, and I think you'll be pleased.
'Hadley' is a navy viscose linen blend with off-white floral embroidery. The couching stitch entails sewing (or embroidering) a thin white thread | cord onto the fabric using a fine thread. You will see what I mean in the close-up images. The underside features the flat cotton sewing thread and not the corded design. The soft viscose linen blend has drape with folds falling on and away from the body. It is only a bit transparent when you hold a single layer to the light. You might want to use a light black slip, but once the cloth is around your body, you will be fine.
This is perfect for dresses, tops, skirts and loose pants, and you might also consider something like a wrap jacket.

Cloth Care:
We recommend a gentle machine wash or hand washing linen. If machine washing, use a garment bag to preserve the embroidery. It is important not to wring the fabric or garment, so if you are handwashing, roll up in a towel to press out excess water. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. It is preferable to wash garments inside out. Wash colours separately. Shake out the wet garment and dry flat (or on a hanger) in the shade. Use a warm/hot iron and spot test.
