Piper is the perfect dress pattern, including beautiful blouse | tunic and dress versions.  It's an uncomplicated design and has a flattering shape.  It features various body lengths and neckline finishes, two upper-body options, a straight sleeve with a roll-up tab, and a bell sleeve with an elastic hem.  All-in-all it enables you to combine different design elements and create 24 different versions.  This pattern has the added bonus of being made in a woven or jersey/knit.  If you choose jersey cloth, choose a size below your regular size for optimal results.
