Cloth Edit has a wonderful selection of soft canvas cottons, perfect for summer weight pants, shorts, vests, loose jackets, overalls and jumpsuits, A-line or straight skirts, summer dresses and simple tops. Don't let the 'canvas' in the product tile lead you astray. These are only 225gsm, and they have a lovely soft handle and some nice drape (in rounded folds, away from the body). You wouldn't want a lot of gathers, but some soft gathering on sleeves or a waist would still work well with this cloth. This cloth is also perfect for bag-making due the substantial weight and tight weave.
'Liquorice Stripe' is a classic. You might like to stride out in a beautiful pair of striped trousers or shorts, or perhaps a jacket is more your style. This black and white stripe is perfect for a bold, solo statements (like a sundress, or a coordinating vest top and A-Line skirt), or as a foil for a 'plain', accompanying garments. I can also see this in a tote bag to wear with a black or white ensemble.
