You loved the soft canvas collection of prints that I introduced last year, and I think you'll love the three new options. This soft canvas cotton is perfect for summer weight pants, shorts, vests, loose jackets, overalls and jumpsuits, A-line or straight skirts, summer dresses and simple tops. Don't let the 'canvas' in the product title mislead you. These are only around 225gsm, and they have a lovely soft handle and some nice drape (in rounded folds, away from the body). You wouldn't want a lot of gathering with this cloth, but some pleats would work well. This cloth is also perfect for bag-making due the substantial weight and tight weave.
'Stripey Patches' ~ What a print! I've had some requests for bold stripes, and I think this might just satisfy the linear longing. The design is a series of 'patches' of horizontal, vertical and diagonal stripes and the patches have the best colour combos: burgundy and raspberry, cobalt and aqua, cobalt and orange, aqua and bright chartreuse, pink and muted chartreuse (bright olive), and tan and cocoa.
