I had to snap up this trio of Pucci-esque prints for Cloth Edit. You don't often see prints like this, and I think you're going to love them. As we head into the holiday season, they'll be perfect for pool-side kaftans or oversized shirts, but also superb for statement dresses, palazzo pants, and loose blouses. A co-ord would be brilliant!
You will notice in the images that there is a border or band along one selvage. This is more obvious in the 'Blue' colourway images. The arch or scalloped pattern is about 3cm wide, and the block of colour is about 6cm wide. This will be perfect as a hem or cuff feature, or as a design feature to incorporate at a centre-front or back.
These prints certainly give a nod to the vibrant designs of Emilio Pucci, who played with exuberant patterns of abstract shapes in a kaleidoscope of colours. In the 'Capri Kaleidoscope' design you will see some portions of flowers and curled narrow leaves, and layers of patterns creating more substantial leaf designs, all amongst the cacophony of fluid shapes and vibrant colour. I have created a Pinterest Board of EP designs which you might find inspiring.
The cloth is a viscose poplin, so it's not too slippery and is perfect for an array of garments.
There are three colourways:
Pink - hot pink, pale pink, mauve, red, black, emerald green and ivory (Rose Pink border)
Green - forest, emerald and lime green, aqua, lavender, black and ivory (Lime Border)
Blue - sky blue, cobalt, hot pink, muted rose pink, very pale lavender, muted purple, black and ivory (Cobalt Border)
Enjoy!
