I love florals with details and a lovely mix of colours, but sometimes simple designs that celebrate two colours are the most striking.  'Astrid' is just such a design.  The contrasting colours of the flowers and foliage appear as solid colours or outlines, which breaks up the design and brings a lightness to it.  The cloth is a gorgeous cotton satin that has great drape, a little body, and a subtle sheen.  It's a beautiful cloth to sew and wear.  

This is perfect for dresses, shirts, blouses, skirts and loose pants.

Astrid comes in two colourways:

Green and Cobalt - the green is close to a sage although some might call it an ocean green also.  The cobalt is a beautiful contrast. 

Pink and Tomato - pink and red is a classic combination.  This is a soft fairy-floss pink, and the red has the muted orange tinge of tomato red.

Cloth Care:

Gentle cold machine or hand wash, dry in shade and do not tumble dry. Iron on wrong side of fabric to preserve print. Dry clean if preferred.
