About the Ava Summer Dress

The Ava summer dress was designed to be an All-Year favourite.  It’s a wonderful dress for summer shopping, strolling and café jaunts, but it is also perfect for a party or for work.  Ava has a classic button placket and collar with collar stand. Both front and back are cut above the bust and gathered for a flattering look and comfortable fit. The dress is sleeveless, but the folded shoulder cuffs still give good coverage. The optional belt gives shape, but Ava looks wonderful worn loose as well.  

This is a paper pattern, the pattern includes a hardcopy of the pattern sheet and sewing instructions. The pattern pieces on the pattern sheet are overlapping and printed on both sides to save paper and reduce costs.  Larger patterns piece may be in two pieces, which you need to trace as one.  The pattern is in English, Dutch and French.

The seam allowances are included on the pattern sheet.

Choose a light to medium weight fabric like viscose, fine cotton, tencel, polyester, linen

Sizing

The size range for this pattern is 36 to 52.  UK and Australian size 6 - 24.
