About the Emily Trousers
The Atelier Jupe Emily design is a wide, loose-fitting trouser with a small pleat in the front, side pockets and an elasticated waistband. The elegant ribbons to tie up the trousers are optional, but complete the look.
The Fabric
Choose a light or medium weight fabric that has a nice drape. Think viscose, tencel or a non-static polyester. Avoid sturdy fabrics such as heavy cotton which will not do justice to the pattern.
If you work with more delicate fabrics, make sure to reinforce the crotch seam with an interfacing strip.
