Denim is at the core of Cloth Edit’s 2024 Autumn Collection (or Spring for the Northern Hemisphere 😉). I’ve been on the hunt for a lovely stretch denim that’s perfect for pants/jeans and fitted denim jackets. ‘Bliss’ had all the qualities on the ‘must have’ list. It is on the mid-weight side for stretch denims. It has body to it, but it is soft to touch (especially the white under-side). It isn’t too heavy at 287gsm (or 8 ½ oz per yard) and has a moderate 20% stretch cross grain. The recovery is also great due to the stability of the 20% Poly content, along with the 5% Elastane. The twill weave brings a slight sheen when you move it in the light.
Liquorice is a fabulous black (lightened due to the twill weave ‘flecks’ of white).
The 6 colours have you covered, whether you love the traditional navy or black denim, or want something dark but more ‘earthy’ like the Pecan or Olive Grove, or something fresh and unique, like the Sherbert and Marmalade.
This is perfect for slim fit or straight leg pants, straight or A-line skirts, jackets, blazers, pinafores, slimmer fit overalls/dungarees and vests. It will bring the perfect amount of ease across shoulders and in the seat of your trousers/pants.
