Bohin Murano glass-head sewing pins are made in city of L’Aigle in Normandy, France, where pins have been made since the 12th century. Bohin have been manufacturers of hand sewing needles and pins since 1833, and and since 1952 they remain the only French manufacturer of sewing needles.
These pins are .60 mm in diameter, which is a standard size for a wide variety of fabrics. The coloured head, made of real Murano glass, allows you to find your pins when you drop them, but is also a sewist’s friend at the ironing board, as the head doesn’t melt. The pins are strong and made to high quality standards.
It’s perhaps the smallest tool in the craft person’s sewing box, but it can bring joy to your sewing experience. If you haven't used quality pins before, you will soon be separating the blunt from these beauties.
