Mottled Classic #4 ‘Tortoiseshell’ – 15mm

My mother always had tortoiseshell buttons in her sewing basket.  She was a practical woman, and tortoiseshell goes with so many colours.  These are another of our Classic shirt buttons, this time in a semi-gloss finish (with just a little sheen).  These are a decent 15mm in diameter and add a bit of character to a garment.  Sew on with a thread that blends, or if the garment is a plain colour, add even more interest with a strong contrasting thread.  As the images suggest, these are another versatile button.
