Meet the latest addition to Closet Core Patterns: Jenna. The oversized menswear-inspired shirt is an iconic wardrobe staple, and this rendition is polished, perfectly proportioned, and includes all the classic shirting details you'd expect. The Jenna has a loose fit, drop shoulder, deep back yoke, chest pocket, traditional shirt collar and collar stand, and a long sleeve with a classic tower placket and cuff. This classic garment is so versatile, and the pattern also includes a superb dress variation. If you are new to shirt making, Closet Core's wonderful instructions will be a great way to start your shirting adventure!
- View A is the perfect everyday button-up shirt, ending below the seat with a deeply curved hem.
- View B is a cropped button-up shirt with a straight hem.
- View C is a shirtdress with a gathered skirt panel.

- For a crisp, classic shirt, choose structured wovens like poplin, chambray, oxford, broadcloth, and dobby and twill shirtings.

Sizing
Introducing Alpha Sizing!
Closet Core are excited to introduce this pattern in the new alpha size range! Please note that instead of 0-20 and 14-32 like past patterns, Fran comes in sizes XXS-4X, and covers the full scope of our size range (up to a 62" hip).
CC have worked hard to develop and test this new range, which they will offer for select future patterns in the future, in addition to our traditional 0-20 and 14-32 range. The alpha sizing works best for less fitted and more oversized patterns, and they have another pattern planned for next year that employs the same conventions. One big benefit is that it allows CC to go to print with a more size-inclusive range, with all sizes from XXS-4X included in the envelope!
