At times new Club customers ask if they will 'see' images of the prints on launch day. Club Cloth Edit is a mystery box event, and so the images of the fabric are not provided. I have included some details above and below, but the idea behind it is to provide exclusive, inspiring prints.  It is a sewist's special treat :-)

The Cloth

This is the same stunning Linen Silk base cloth as other Cloth Edit exclusive designs.    

• 90% Linen 10% Silk

• Directional print (although there are some elements that face the cross-grain, making is great for a little economical pattern placement if needed). 
• NOT a border print
• It's a light cloth, but you won't need to line it.

The Presentation 

 
This Club Cloth Edit offering comes in beautiful quality white matt box with a magnetic closure, which should come in handy for Christmas gift-giving, or using as a special place to store your sewing goodies.  The box is tied with an extra wide, wired, denim blue linen ribbon which will also be useful for your present wrapping, or making bows for your Christmas tree.  

General Description  

Mexico traverses several climate regions, and this print celebrates just some of that diverse landscape in a beautiful resort-style print.  This design contains an array of Mexico-inspired motifs, which are brought together seamlessly.  If you were to separate the elements, there is nothing that's too large, but they overlap and mingle in a very pleasing way.  The colours are predominately pink and green, but there are pops of purple, red, blue, soft yellow and soft orange.  The tranquil seafoam blue-green background is the perfect backdrop to celebrate the gorgeous colour palette and beautiful design details.  The print is striking, but the softer background provides balance.   The impetus for this print was found in a small, archived sample I acquired from a supplier.  The design was carefully reimagined and tweaked to create a joyful celebration of Mexico, without being juvenile or kitsch ;-).
