While this is the 'Autumn' edition, you'll find a range of chic blouses, dresses, pants, a classic skirt and versatile bomber jacket (for any time of year). Some pieces that have caught my eye are: the Jessa dress, with its grown-on sleeves, V-neckline, straight through silhouette, and stylish belt; the asymmetrical Carline blouse|top, complete with unique collar and buttoned sleeve; the Kimya and the sweeping slit at the neckline and unique twist detail; and the very cool Havana 'dress', which is also is a versatile layering piece akin to a long gilet, with elegant slits up both sides and a button closure. If you are headed into summer rather than winter, the Havana would be a perfect alternative to a kaftan to wear over bathers. There are so many other great patterns in this issue (the Abina sweater; Leiko blouse; Deliz Pinafore|dress; Bliss and Gizeh pants; Ildri shirtdress; Fausta skirt; and the Elsie bomber). Enjoy!
Fibre Mood Magazines are an inspiring assembly of modern sewing patterns, and fashion forward inspiration. The designs contain unique design features, and the stunning photography provides inspiration for your makes.
The first part of the magazine features line drawings of the sewing patterns, alongside the beautifully captured versions of the garments. At the back of the magazine is the 'Checklist', which contains measurement charts, notions, fabric suggestions, a guide to using the sewing patterns, and step-by-step sewing instructions. Fibre Mood also have a number of tutorials in their website. The patterns are contained in a middle section of the magazine which you can detach, for easy tracing.
Cloth Edit is a proud Fibre Mood stockist.
