What is the 'Special'?
Well, Fibre Mood wanted to create a special Christmas/Holiday/Party issue and they rummaged through their extensive pattern library, and tweaked some beloved patterns by adding party vibes. You’ll find 17 joyful patterns in this issue, and the styling will bring you inspiration for the party season. Let's be honest though, these are great patterns for any time of year.
This issue also includes a collaboration with MoMu, the Antwerp Fashion Museum! They collaborated by taking a historical garment and putting a contemporary spin on it. Sewists receive this pattern for free in the special edition.
The cover is glossy like a fashion mag, and it will be a perfect gift (for you or the sewist in your life).
The first part of the magazine features line drawings of the sewing patterns, alongside the beautifully captured versions of the garments. At the back of the magazine is the 'Checklist', which contains measurement charts, notions, fabric suggestions, a guide to using the sewing patterns, and step-by-step sewing instructions. Fibre Mood also have a number of tutorials in their website. The patterns are contained in a middle section of the magazine which you can detach, for easy tracing.
