Blue and white stripes are a summer staple.  This gorgeous Broderie Anglaise combines a beautiful stripe with classic embroidery.  The yarn-dyed striped cloth has enough body for a statement sleeve, or a classic oversized shirt, but is soft enough for exquisite dresses and skirts.  The cloth has the feel of a soft and light cotton linen blend.  It’s fantastic quality.  The ‘holes’ from the broderie anglaise are small so you won’t need to line tops.  You might want to line a skirt, although you will probably find that you don’t need (or want) to.  Enjoy this mid-summer beauty.
