Lady McElroy 'Lorellie Amber Spot' Linen | Viscose

Spots are trending in a big way atm, and the Lorellie spot is a wonderful, fresh take on a classic motif.  The irregular black spots are regularly festooned with yellow, orange and burgundy spots, and the layered effect adds dimension and a fun reprieve from the monochromatic.   This cloth is what Lady McElroy calls 'Trudi Chambray', but just think of it as a drapey, soft linen blend.  It's very similar to many linen blends that you'll be with at Cloth Edit.  Despite the white background it's 196gsm and not transparent.  Some may want to wear a light slip under skirts, but I wouldn't. This is going to be amazing for summer (think dresses, shirts, blouses, loose pants, skirts), teamed with white, black, tan etc.

Cloth Care:

Machine washable at 30 degrees, cool iron and hang out to dry straight after washing, please note when you wash viscose it can become stiffer when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries.

To ensure the long life of a garment, don’t tumble dry as this breaks down the fibres. It is preferable to wash inside out. Wash colours separately. Dry in shade and inside out. Use a warm/hot iron and spot test.
