Maison Fauve - Hespéride blouse
About the Hespéride blouse
The Hespéride blouse is a breezy style with lots of beautiful details that elevate it to something special. It's a raglan sleeve (which I know sewists love ;-)), with that signature Maison Fauve pleated detail on the shoulders. The front can either be a simple boat neck. or you can choose a front button placket. The back yoke is where there is real 'WOW' factor, as it has an inverse triangular cut-out feature, which is partially hidden behind the bow closure. The front bodice is slightly A-line with no gathers into the yoke, but the back has gathering. It's so romantic.
The Fabric
Select lightweight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) that are soft and flowing. Be careful, your fabric must be ironable and not lose its shape too much: viscose or cotton poplin, tencel, cotton voile, crepe, light satin or twill. Lace will also look great as long as it is soft and non-stretchy.
