About the Lioness

The Lioness features a regal silhouette, with a feminine, draped cowl neckline.  This top will become a summer (and layering) staple.  Its soft, sculptural lines are created via a bias cut.

The wide straps ensure all-day comfort and make it easy to wear with a bra. Whether in a plain fabric or a print, it slips into any wardrobe while keeping its distinctive 90s' allure.

Key techniques are: sewing precise corners, applying bias binding at the armholes, and working with bias-cut fabric.

The Fabric

Select soft, fluid, lightweight fabrics between 70 and 200 g/m², such as poplin, crepe, voile, twill, satin or a fine jacquard, in cotton, viscose, linen, Tencel or silk.

Yardage for sizes 34 to 52

Fabric for a width of 140cm: 

• 34-40 : 90cm

• 42-46 : 110 cm

• 48-52 : 130 cm
