Maison Fauve - LouLou Pants

About the LouLou Pants

The Lou Lou trousers fit close to the leg to lengthen the figure.  They are easy to sew, and will quickly become a must-have in your wardrobe.  There is the usual Maison Fauve twist; in this case the feature is piping.  The front pockets and their geometric cut-out can be outlined with piping!

NOTE - While most Maison Fauve patterns go up to size 50 or larger, this is one of the original MF designs, and the size range is only Size 34 - 46 (Waist 60cm - 84cm)

The Fabric

Select gabardine, denim, prince of wales, light wool, heavy viscose with hold, jacquard. The pattern is designed for a fabric with some elasticity.

If your fabric does not contain elastane, spandex or any other fibre that gives it some elasticity, choose the size above and check the thigh measurement.

Yardage for sizes 34 to 46

- The fabric for a 140 cm width:
1m50 of fabric (attention, if your fabric has a direction of cut or connections it will be necessary to adapt the length)
- Iron-on interfacing for the waist and to reinforce the pocket on light fabric

The Notions

- 70 cm of piping cord
- Invisible zip of 22 cm
- 1 button of approximately 10 mm

Sizing

The pattern size range is 34 to 46 (European), which covers a waist  measurement range from: 80 to 122 cm
