About the Mimosa Blazer
(One of the new patterns in the Fauve Romance Collection)
This blazer is effortlessly elegant and the centrepiece of the Fauve Romance collection. Its straight cut is well constructed with 2-piece sleeves, a small false welt chest pocket, and very large, rounded patch pockets. The curves are also echoed in the shawl collar which softens the slightly boyish, and the volume and shoulder pads give it a very chic shape.
The Fabric
Select medium-weight woollens, tweed, jacquard, gabardine, jeans, fabrics weighing about 200 to 350g/m2 in order to highlight the straight cut and the line of the collar and shoulders. For the lining, Maison Fauve recommend 100% cupro lining, which is slippery and more breathable than polyester.
*You could also use a light and smooth cotton such as Artlux or Liberty lawn.
