About the Kika Dress and Playsuit/'Combi-short'

Kika is a magnificent 'Bustier' style dress or playsuit (combishort) design.  It's a design masterpiece as the multi-piece bodice construction works like a 'corsetie', but it's made more comfortable with the use of elastic.  The shaped neckline, and cool pockets are wonderful features. This is such a versatile dress or playsuit/jumpsuit.  Make it with or without straps (wide enough to conceal a bra), wear it with heels for an event, or dress it down with chic casual shoes.  

The Fabric

Select light to medium weight fabrics, (110 to 220g/m2), twill, poplin with some hold, fine denim, tencel, viscose or cotton.  Avoid fabrics that are too slippery.

Yardage for sizes 34 to 52

Fabric for a width of 140 cm:
34 / 36: 130 cm
38 / 42: 150 cm
44 / 46: 160 cm
48 / 52: 180 cm

- A 3cm wide elastic band, length: 34cm for the 34, 36cm for the 36, 38cm for the 38, 40cm for the 40, 42cm for the 42, 44cm for the 44, 46cm for the 46, 48cm for the 48, 51cm for the 50 and 54cm for the 52.

Sizing

The pattern size range is 34 to 52 (European), which covers a bust  measurement range from: 80 to 122 cm
