About the Sable Jacket
Sable is a chic and comfortable mid-season jacket. It has a straight cut, with kimono style sleeves and collar. It has the air of a casual blazer. It is fully lined, for an impeccable finish. The yokes ensure multiple interpretations. Above all, it is a very accessible model, perfect for getting started with lined jackets.
The Fabric
Select lightweight woollens, denim, gabardine, but also slightly thicker cottons (wax cotton would be fabulous). For the lining, choose a fabric that slips.
Yardage for sizes 34 to 56
- 1m70 for the main fabric up to 46 and 2m40 from 48 to 56 (and if you sew everything in the same fabric too)
- if you want to sew 2 types of fabrics you need 1m for the collar and the contrasting sleeve (plan to iron your collar)
- 1m70 of fabric for the lining and pockets up to size 46 and and 2 m from 48 to 56

The size range is 34 to 56 (European), which covers a bust measurement range from: 80 to 136 cm
