It has a playful A-line silhouette shaped by subtle darts. There's a flattering V-neckline at the front and back. The key feature is the gently gathered shoulder panels that add a soft, elegant drape to contrast with the clean lines of the design. This is such a versatile and chic design.
The Fabric
Select a twill, a viscose crepe or poplin, a fine jacquard or a beautiful lace. Choose fabrics weighing 90 to 250g/m2 depending on the desired effect. If you want to line your dress, we recommend cotton voile.
Yardage for sizes 34 to 52
Fabrics in 140 cm widths:
Sizes 34-42: 90 cm for the blouse and 120 cm for the dress
Sizes 44-46 : 100 cm for the blouse and 180 cm for the dress
Sizes 48-52 : 140 cm for the blouse and 200 cm for the dress
The Notions
- 40 cm of fusible interfacing (G710 recommended)
- 40 cm of shirring elastic, 15 mm wide
- 130 cm of fusible seam tape (cut-on-the-bias recommended)
