Maison Fauve - Rafale Windbreaker
About the Rafale Windbreaker
The RAFALE is more than just a windbreaker. It combines some classic features and a timeless fit of an outdoor garment with the Maison Fauve attention to detail. You'll be protected from wind with the lined hood and turned up collar | visor with drawstring. There is also a front guard aver the front opening. They have thought of everything!
The cut is structured with carefully designed inserts and yokes, an impeccably cut sleeve which includes small darts, a large kangaroo pocket with a trompe l'oeil flap (you can slip your hands in but not open the pocket from the top). It's also the perfect length. The Rafale is both practical and stylish, and as the images suggest it can be reinvented to suit your needs and preferences.
The Fabric
Select light, supple fabrics weighing between 70 and 200g/m2, such as fine denim, fine coated or water-repellent fabrics, but also fine gabardine, medium-weight twill and cotton satin. For the lining of the hood, a cotton voile will be the most comfortable.
The pattern does not include a lining, but the interior finishing is impeccable thanks to the French and folded seams.
