About the Salto Top
Like a desire for lightness, a little top with which everything is allowed. The SALTO top is a pattern that we like to make in all materials, for all occasions. According to your desires, you can sew the buttoned front version or the full front version, which will allow you to play as much with the prints without difficulty of connections as with the beautiful materials and the pretty buttons. The perfect cleanliness of the wide straps assembly allows you to sew openwork fabrics without any visible facing.
The Fabric
Select lightweight fabrics (80 to 160 g/m2) with more or less hold depending on the desired effect on the folds. Be careful, your fabric must mark well with the iron and not deform too much: viscose, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. The openwork fabrics will also be interesting for this model, especially since the cleanliness of the neckline is achieved with a bias.

- 20 cm of iron-on for pieces 4 and 7
- 2 buttons of about 10-15 mm for the buttoned sleeve version

The pattern size range is 34 to 52 (European), which covers a bust measurement range from: 80 to 122 cm
Level of Difficulty
The pattern is rated 'In the middle' - the technical points are the realization of the pleats on the front bust and the shoulders, the ripstop slit with the assembly of the cuff and the installation of the bias neckline.
