About the Shepherd 

The classic Shepherd is a pleated A-line skirt with slanted pockets, side button fastenings and pleats for fullness. It's lovely and soft and floaty in linen, or smart and hardy in cotton twill, and can be made lined or unlined.

The Fabric

For your Shepherd select linen, cotton poplin, cotton voile, cotton sanded twill, hemp blends, Tencel/linen, needlecord, 4 – 8oz denim, lightweight wool, Indian handlooms (if narrow you may have to piece).

Sizing

This is a multi-size pattern including sizes UK 6 – 18.  This covers a waist measurement range of 61cm-89cm.  All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
