I'm so happy to get my hands on this gorgeous, embroidered fabric.  For those who bought the 'Verdant Foliage' embroidered design last year, this is the same cloth (although a tiny bit lighter) and it features the same 'couching' stitch.  Instead of the floral design, this variation has beautiful white stitching of tropical leaves on an olive background.  

The couching stitch entails sewing (or embroidering) a thin white cord onto the fabric using a fine thread. I have included close-up images so you might see this in the images.  The underside features the flat cotton sewing thread and not the corded design. The fabric is a soft viscose linen blend, and it has drape. As well as dresses, tops, skirts and loose pants, you might also consider loose jackets.

Cloth Care:

We recommend a gentle machine wash or hand washing linen. If machine washing, use a garment bag to preserve the embroidery. It is important not to wring the fabric or garment, so if you are handwashing, roll up in a towel to press out excess water. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. It is preferable to wash garments inside out. Wash colours separately. Shake out the wet garment and dry flat (or on a hanger) in the shade. Use a warm/hot iron and spot test.
